Verify AI output like a student answer

Models produce fluent, authoritative, occasionally wrong material: wrong facts, wrong difficulty, subtly wrong methods. The professional habit is the same one you apply to student work. Assume error, check against what you know, and only then let it into the room.

In practice

• Do the worksheet yourself before printing it. Every question, at speed. Wrong answers in the key and mis-levelled questions are the two most common failures.
• Check method, not just answers: an AI solution can reach the right result via a method your syllabus doesn't teach, which becomes next week's confusion.
• For factual content, spot-check the three claims you'd be least able to defend if a parent challenged them.
• Treat "it saved me an hour" as the result of checking, not a reason to skip it. Reprinting and reteaching cost more than the check.
