In June 2025, Predictive Systems Inc. (PSI)proudly broughtPhilippine AIto the global stage in Helsinki, Finland. Through our flagship education AI platform, better-ed, we didn’t just participate—we won.
At the renowned Maria 01 Pitch Competition, PSI took home first place, outperforming a strong field of international startups. The recognition marked a major milestone not just for PSI, but for the broader Philippine tech ecosystem—showing that AI built in Southeast Asiacan compete globally with purpose, clarity, and innovation.

Hosted at the heart of Finland’s vibrant startup scene, the Maria 01 campus is often called the “Nordic Silicon Valley.” The pitch competition welcomed high-potential startups solving global problems, and PSI stood out from the start.
Our product, better-ed, is a voice-powered AI platform that allows students to answer open-ended questions naturally—by speaking, not just clicking. It captures, transcribes, and evaluates student responses using conversational AI, giving teachers deep insights into how students actually think and communicate.

The judges highlighted several reasons why better-ed emerged as the winner:
“You’re solving a global education problem with empathy and precision,” remarked one jury member. “It’s clear this solution wasn’t built in a vacuum.”
The victory at Maria 01 wasn’t just about having great tech—it was about having a clear vision and a real-world applicationthat resonated across cultures.
For PSI, this win marks a defining moment. It’s a validation of years of work in building responsible, inclusive AI—the kind that listens, adapts, and uplifts. And it sends a strong message to the world: Philippine AI is ready to lead.
Withbetter-ed, we’re not automating education—we’re enriching it. By making voice-based, open-ended assessments accessible and scalable, we’re bringing back the human side of learning while helping teachers reclaim their time and focus.
More importantly, this milestone contributes to a larger movement—reframing how the world sees AI from the Philippines. Our win at Maria 01 shows that we’re not just tech adopters—we’re tech creators, ready to export ethical and impactful solutions to a global audience.
But this mission doesn’t stop with education. At PSI, we’re building AI solutions across sectors—from legal tech to smart retail—grounded in our core belief:
Your Data. Your AI. Your Way.
